Kings Crew Children's Club
The Kings Crew Children's club is aimed at school years 1-6. To provide a safe place for children to come and have fun, make friend and experience new hallneges. It takes place most Thursday evenings from 6:00pm -7:30pm in term time and has a core memebrship of around 15-20 kids.
The Group is oraganised and run by Julia and Andy Freeman, suported by a team of willing volunteers and Mark Lees as Minister of the church.
The normal format is for introductory games and song, followed by a relevent Gospel based talk and interaction session, before a drink and biscuits, follwed by a craft time, and then a chance to learn music, drama, dance and puppets.
The young people are help to learn new skills, express themselves in a positive way and learn to work with a variety of people. We can have occaisional games and quiz evenings as one off specials with somebody getting cream pied in the end!
The Kings Crew performing Arts Group are the public outworking from this group and perform at church and community events accross the district.
