Youth Mission
The Church is passionate about missions and has a long term goal to disciple all of our young people to be mission minded, spirit led and focussed on the Glory of God.
To this end it is our intended goal to give any and all of our young people the opportunity to grow in Grace through the encouragement of Bible based fellowship, to experience the love of God through involvment in service and ministry in the local church, and to experience other cultures and context where the Glory of God is being declared.
As a church we have participated in a number of Youth Outreaches, where we have built on common bonds with teams and churches overseas.
In 2009 and 2010 we have specific Youth team outreaches to Romania. Involved in working practically in Church based outreach projects to children and young people.
In 2009 the Minister of the Church took a young man on mission in Mombassa and in 2010 took another on a missions visit to North Pakistan.
In 2010 one of our Young people Amy Barnett, left us for Missions Training school at Redcliffe College in Gloucester. This is one of two missionary Training Colleges in the UK. It is Amy's heart and passion to serve God overseas, based on her participation in our church Youth outreaches, and her growing understanding of the Mission of God to take the Gospel of Jesus to all nations.
In 2011 as part of her studies and development she took part in a placement at "Betel" a church planting, drig rehabilitation scheme in Madrid in Spain.
In 2011 another of our Young people, Ryan Souza, went to Hungary on an Operation mobilisation team to the Town of Erd near Budapast.
